understanding ay be distorted by inappropriate
word order. In an analytical overview of this
unique area of language studies it would appear
that not much research, has been completed in this
field. That which has been done is discussed in

"The Movement of the Simplification of Spelling in the English Language"

A 7 page overview of the move to change the way we spell in the English language. While in the U.S. and the U.K. alike changes in spelling have been attempted to be implemented via a formal route, for the most part change has only occurred informally. We have generated formal proceedings and approvals throughout the years, even seen Presidential orders and House of Commons Bills but old spellings have stayed staunchly in place. The informal verses the formal aspects of the movement to simplify spelling, however, has been somewhat more successful. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
